It sounds like they're asking everyone for help... Which makes no sense if a nymph is the only one who can hear them.
Although I suppose they could expect me to pass the message along, which in that case, I am no one's delivery boy!
If you do hear anything...could you let me know? I never heard a single peep from those mushrooms, but I was only just beginning to change when that outbreak occurred. My, um...plant sense??? may not have been kicking in then.
