[Picking her own glass up, she downs the liquid all in one go like it's nothing— a feat she is certainly not capable of while not a demon. But when you burn so hot (hot enough to burn off some of that fuel, perhaps?) the sting of alcohol goes down as smooth as warm water.]
Well, okay, it's a little weird, being two different monsters at the same time.
[He blinks, staring wide-eyed for a moment. He hasn't actually had the chance to pet her, now that he thinks about it... but like, that would have been a weird thing to do without her permission, right?]
Yeah, right... Some people don't like to be pet. Adri, for example--
[He snickers, then downs the rest of his beverage, reaching to put it on the coffee table-- only to find his arms are much too short. So. He'll. Just hold it, he guesses.]
H-heh. You do look super soft, actually... Your fur's all shiny and plush-lookin'. You make a great pooka.
[Ah, he's always so eager to give compliments. She had a few more for him, but hey, if he's going to be so generous.
With no ceremony or preparation, Maya pushes down on the seat of the couch to shift herself closer to him once again, and as if that weren't enough, she swings her legs to lay them over Hanna's lap, crossing her arms over them as if in an offering.]
[Now, Maya isn't exactly quick on the uptake herself, but she can't say she'd really doubt someone who was sitting in her lap on this subject. She wiggles her arms in front of him, as if to reassert herself.]
You're gonna miss out on some soft fuzzy action if you don't!
[Come on, Hanna... It's just her arms! Chill out!]
H-heh, okay.
[He reaches out with the hands not currently occupied by his glass, rubbing little circles on her forearms before beginning to stroke up and down then, ooh-ing and aah-ing all the way.]
Oh, wow... Yeah. That's nice.
[He hates how the first thing he thinks is that he could sleep on this fluff forever. Just curl up in it all snug and be warm for the rest of ever. And how it would be especially good if it smelled like her, too.
Because that's a weird thing to think about your very good friend and boss-- ]
[And what very professional bestie behavior they're engagin in, all close like this, with her practically in his lap and everything. She lets him pet her arms, but is very quick to turn the tide after he's gotten to touch her;]

[She announces before taking one of his arms in both of hers, sliding soft paws down his forearms until she can hold his hand, playing with his fingers like any inquisitive kid.]
I knew it! You're like one of those flocked toy figures...
[And before Hanna can protest, she pulls his hand to her face, so that she can rub her cheek against the back of his hand.]
[That sunburn is getting pretty bright isn't it. He sure feels warm. Maybe it's just that a whole warm demon is sitting in his lap... Yeah. That's gotta be it.
He's just gonna bring that extra set of hands to his face so he can dump some of the remaining ice in his mouth and chomp on it. To cool off and to give him a minute to think on how the hell he's gonna respond to this without sounding like a total dweeb.
Unfortunately the "Mhmm!" That comes out does end up sounding like a whimper that a total dweeb would make.]
H-haha, it's kinda velvety, right? [Hhh.] Y-your face is real soft, too.
[She is warm, to his credit. Her face is warm, her hand are warm, her legs— no to mention the part of her underside that is against his leg right now. Not that poor, innocent Hanna would even notice that, right?
It's even tougher to ignore the way she hugs his arm to her chest with one of her own, as if to keep him from pulling it away, only to reach up with the other hand and pat Hanna's cheek.]

[She gives his cheek the gentlest little tug, sticking her tongue out, as if to show she means no harm. It's not ridicule! She's just having fun with her favorite pet. Uh, employee. Yeah.]
[He stares at her for what feels like forever, slack-jawed and stupid. He can't believe she'd ask him such a question point blank. He also can't believe she's pretty much sitting in his lap, touching his face, and somehow keeps getting closer and closer. Really, there's not that much more space between them.
[Of course he's always thought she was a beautiful girl, but the fact that she was also (in his mind) unattainable helped keep him in line. Not to say he hasn't had his share of dokis over her, but he at least managed to keep all of that to himself up until now.
Hanna swallows hard, exhaling a nervous laugh as he takes in the sight before him, this beautiful bunny girl laid out in front of him like she wants him to look at her this way... How else is he supposed to take this display?]
H-ha. W-well, you, uh-- [He huffs a breathless laugh, gripping that glass like it's his only lifeline.] --you probably know how it feels, then...
[To some extent, anyway. She probably doesn't feel like her pants are too small right about now though does she--]
[Ah, no, she can't relate on that front— though she'd be lying if she wasn't feeling more... sensitive, than she might, were she not a little bunny right now. Which isn't to say she wouldn't mind the attention from Hanna normally— no, she loves the attention, but she's never really minded the year-long dryspell she's had until she turned much fluffier a night or so ago.]
I guess I can't expect you not to be a little flustered.
But don't worry! I know just the solution.
