That isn't the same and you know it. You can justify it as much as you want, but I meant it, you can't change my mind. I won't stop her if she plans to do this again, but I will make sure the only humans involved are our enemies, not our friends. There were faces missing when I came back, Hanna. It hurt.
and dont think for a second that i dont hate that we couldn't stop them. or think that maya is happy that she's lost her friends and neighbors to this. but the only thing we could do was honor them the way we thought they should be honored after making that choice.
if you think you're convincing enough to talk people out of sacrificing themselves for god, then by all means give it a try, but you'd be surprised by the strength of some's devotion.
