[Out past the waves on the coast Merain sits on, there are a few little coves that can be reached by foot when the tide is low and by paddle boat when it's high. With the new moon having passed, well, the tide is high and the waters are still probably a bit too chilly for Hanna, so Maya has brought him here by boat.]
