He has to try not to think about his horse shoulders and instead consider his hips as they were before they got glued to this horse torso (or horso if you will.) It's only been a week since he was a kelpie last, so why the hell is it so hard to remember how his body worked??!]
[As if she can sense his hesitation, Maya takes her hands out of his and places them on Hanna's... 'hips'. She closes her own eyes to better imagine without being distracted by his horso, and places her palms flat on his haunches.]
Your hips. They're just like you remember. Attached to just two... horse's leg's. Just two of 'em. Right down to two, big, powerful hooves.
[He knows exactly what sassy reference she's making and he can't help but bob his head like a chicken about it... which unfortunately is not helping him really focus.
