[She pulls him along and to the office door, though not before parking that mop behind the stairs, only letting go of his fingers once she's ushered Hanna in. Expecting him to make himself comfortable she busies herself closing the door. But rather than taking a seat on the desk as she might usually, she parks herself on the couch, immediately pouring herself a drink from the decanter at the coffee table.]
You want one too? I knooow you do~
[She chimes, feeding her devilish desire to enable by filling a second glass for Hanna.
Here alone in the office with him, she can more easily detect his scent isolated from all the others; soft and warm and familiar and unfamiliar all at once. He smells nice, he looks nice, he is nice... And isn't it nice to have his attention?]
[He isn't expecting her to sit next to him, that's for sure. He blinks big gold and red eyes at her, surprised by her proximity, but is quick to respond, nodding his head and chuckling.]
Oh, yeah. I'm parched. Haven't even had my shift drink yet!
[She smells so very good. Definitely different, since she usually smells like a day at the beach but... It's still. Very nice.

He turns to face her, crossing his legs in front of him and leaning back against the arm rest.]
[ah welll, if Hanna is going to lean to one end of the couch, Maya's going to have to follow. Shimmying her hips over to get closer to him, she passes him his glass, her cute little Don Bluth bunny fingertips around the rim.]

His heart is still hammering... rabbits are known to have pretty fast heartbeats but this is a little out of hand. He wonders if she can hear it with her bunny ears. Or...maybe he's just paranoid.]

[Picking her own glass up, she downs the liquid all in one go like it's nothing— a feat she is certainly not capable of while not a demon. But when you burn so hot (hot enough to burn off some of that fuel, perhaps?) the sting of alcohol goes down as smooth as warm water.]

[He blinks, staring wide-eyed for a moment. He hasn't actually had the chance to pet her, now that he thinks about it... but like, that would have been a weird thing to do without her permission, right?]

[He snickers, then downs the rest of his beverage, reaching to put it on the coffee table-- only to find his arms are much too short. So. He'll. Just hold it, he guesses.]

[Ah, he's always so eager to give compliments. She had a few more for him, but hey, if he's going to be so generous.
With no ceremony or preparation, Maya pushes down on the seat of the couch to shift herself closer to him once again, and as if that weren't enough, she swings her legs to lay them over Hanna's lap, crossing her arms over them as if in an offering.]
[Now, Maya isn't exactly quick on the uptake herself, but she can't say she'd really doubt someone who was sitting in her lap on this subject. She wiggles her arms in front of him, as if to reassert herself.]
You're gonna miss out on some soft fuzzy action if you don't!

[He reaches out with the hands not currently occupied by his glass, rubbing little circles on her forearms before beginning to stroke up and down then, ooh-ing and aah-ing all the way.]

[He hates how the first thing he thinks is that he could sleep on this fluff forever. Just curl up in it all snug and be warm for the rest of ever. And how it would be especially good if it smelled like her, too.

[And what very professional bestie behavior they're engagin in, all close like this, with her practically in his lap and everything. She lets him pet her arms, but is very quick to turn the tide after he's gotten to touch her;]

It's even tougher to ignore the way she hugs his arm to her chest with one of her own, as if to keep him from pulling it away, only to reach up with the other hand and pat Hanna's cheek.]

He also can't believe she's pretty much sitting in his lap, touching his face, and somehow keeps getting closer and closer. Really, there's not that much more space between them.
